Day 21: Umbria

Today we went with with my second cousins to visit old cities in Umbria.
The first city was Rasiglia and had old brick work and old looms.  And more waterfalls.. We went with my second cousin Matteo and his wife Roberta and their 2 kids, my second cousin Elisa and husband Andrea and their 2 kids and  my second cousin Tiziana and husband Carmine. They left their kids at home. This is Chiara below.  She is Matteo's second child and her birth is the reason they were  unable to come to Australia.  She has been forgiven however.

Then we went to visit  Spoletto which is a walled town with ancient walls and buildings at the top of a very tall hill.  It was very high as I climbed up stairs and inclines until I thought I would die.

But it was beautiful.

Then we found lifts and escalators to take us down.  We could have come up that way as well. I could have cried.

it was a great day including a huge lunch that we could not finish.
Spoletto was an amazing place. Next time and for your info, you can get 10 escalators and 2 lifts to the top,  or you can climb up as we did.

Bloody incredible
